The District leadership has launched the mechanised maintenance of two key roads: the 13-kilometre Kitaba-Ihombya road in Mwizi Sub-county, valued at 100 million shillings, and the 9.5-kilometres Ihoho-Nshuro road in Bugamba Sub-county, valued at 170 million shillings.
During the launch, the District Engineer - Albert Bahaana emphasised the need for stakeholder cooperation to ensure high-quality work.
The District Chairperson, Richard Owomugasho appreciated the stakeholders from kitabi and kit Ojo for attending the launch.
The area MP, Julius Karuhanga assured attendees that efforts would be made to improve the Kaya Road to facilitate easier movement.
Hon .Molly, the District woman MP,committed to facilitating the installation of a communication mast to enhance network connectivity.
The RDC, Harriet Nakamya cautioned headteachers against extorting money from parents and threatening to expel children,she also informed them about the ongoing National Identity Registration campaign.
